chance meeting with Robert Risko one of my idols in caricature I was doing a beer promotion on the Cape in 1997, and it was slow going at first. Then I heard a voice say "Hey, I do this, too!" As a live caricaturist, this may be the second most common thing we hear, after "How long you been doing this?" So I called his bluff, thinking it was like most of the other hundreds who I've heard say it over the years, a guy who doodles while on the phone or such. But he responded "Vanity Fair magazine" and I was face to face with a man whose work I have admired for years: Robert Risko.  We eexchanged drawings, and both came away energized from the chance encounter.
